About me
Welcome!
My name is Verena and I am a passionate animal lover. Together with my partner and our Labrador Retriever puppy, we live here in beautiful Munich. With my experience in caring for dogs, cats and small animals, I offer reliable and loving animal care. I look forward to helping you and your furry friends!
How it all began
Since May 1994, I have been surrounded by a wide variety of animals, which has made me more passionate about animals. My family has always had dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
start of my self-employment
I started my own business as a small business in September 2023 via a website called "Pawshake" because my circle of friends and acquaintances had already relied on me as a contact person for the care and sitting of their dogs and cats. The skepticism and thoughts of giving my darling into the hands of strangers or letting someone unknown into my apartment/house are well known to me. Thanks to the positive experiences with having my own dogs looked after by strangers, I know how important and rewarding it can be to put your beloved pet in caring hands and I am happy to be able to offer you my support here.
My Work and Dogs
My first dog was a Rottweiler named "Dana". She came to me as a puppy and was allowed to accompany me professionally from the beginning at my then employer. We then successfully completed the training and education to become a guard dog together. We worked together for a security company in a police property in Munich until 2022, then my dog retired.
In 2024, I unfortunately had to let her go due to health problems and the fact that she was a trained protection dog.
After the loss, my partner and I agreed to welcome a new loyal companion into the family and so in January 2025 a little Labrador Retriever named "Benji" moved in with us.
